Medium is another blogging platform that I have come to know recently (oops!) although they’ve been in the internet since 2012. It is actually big for they have over 60 million active users and gets over 200 million views a month!

If you’re are an experienced blogger or already started, you’re definitely what Canva and what it does for you’re. For those of you’re who doesn’t, Canva is a graphic design platform that allows users to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents and other visual content.
I like Canve personally. It makes my work easy.
Pablo or as they call it Pablo 2.0 is similar to Canva. I haven’t tried to use it though. But, Buffer describes it a tool that creates images to fit all social networks.
At Pablo, they have premade major sizes for social media. They have :
- Tall & Vertical – Which is ideal for Pinterest.
- Short & Horizontal – Which is ideal for Twitter and Facebook
- Square – Which is ideal for Instagram and LinkdIn
And because its Buffer, it has the ability to share your images directly to your social media. I better put my hands on this next time.
Oh! Did I forgot to mention that Pablo is also for FREE?
While Canva is meant for graphic designs that suits digital and print applications PicMonkey is more of day to day photo editing like resizing your images, filters, overlay and more.
It also enables you’re to create images for your social media as well. It focuses on Facebook, Instagram, and designing your YouTube channel.
That’s why it is also needed for optimizing images for your blog.
PicMonkey on web browser is FREE to use, but, you’re can not download your work unless you’re subscribe. On mobile app though, you’re can use it for free with limited features.
Snappa is a cloud-based graphic editor for social media, personal, and marketing purposes. Here are the things that you’re can do with Snappa :

An easy to use plugin focusing on caching to improve your website’s performance.
With over 5.5 Million downloads, you’re can definitely tell that WP Super Cache is popular to websites owners. And the most widely used caching plugins available in WordPress.
I already mentioned WP Smush on previous part of this post but, didn’t able to say something about it. So here’s what WP Smush can do to your site.

LazyLoad by WP Rocket
“Lazy Load” from the name itself you’re can literally tell what this plugin does. If you’re don’t understand, I’ll give you’re an example, if a visitor or yo even, visit a website, it tries to load the entire page!
If the page that you’re clicked to load has lots of images in it, then, it will take your loading time really slow. Therefore, that visitor won’t stay and wait for all of it load– your visitor will eventually leave.
So, what does LazyLoad do, is it loads the specific element only when needed.
To be honest, I am currently using WP Smush, to optimize my images, but as I observe my website, I think I need LazyLoad rather than Smush. So, I will be switching to LazyLoad later on.
SITE SECURITY & BACKUP TOOLS
Backing up your website regularly is a must.
Backup make your site secure and always safe. It is crucially important specially if someone attempted to hack your site or even a human error, a mistake made by you’re and sometimes a problem may occur in your hosting platform.
Therefore, backing up your website on a regular basis will help you’re to restore your data quickly so you’re can have your website up and running again.
Just imagine if you’re don’t backup your website and any of those problems I mentioned above occurred… Oh, boy!!

Google Analytics is a “must” have to any digital marketer. What it does is, it provides you’re all the data that you’re need to know about your website performance.

To be a blogger you’re need to be organized. Even if you’re are a messy person by nature, when you’re started blogging you’re will notice that you’re are actually forced to be in order.
It will start first on collecting ideas for your blog post, planning your content for both blog and social media, down to scheduling tasks as you’re grow.
So it is important to stay organize, luckily there are tools out there that can help you’re and here are few FREE ones on the list :
Do not under estimate Google, there are tools under it that can be friendly to you’re a blogger, newbie or not.
I know that you’re already heard of it. But this powerful and FREE tool is actually handy in creating your blog post, or just gather all the idea you’re have, instead of writing all of it in a piece of paper (guilty of it!).

I’m loving the Google Calendar lately because, it makes scheduling tasks easy. And what I love the most is the ability to color block, it’s like color coding your specific schedule or task.

AN EXTRA TOOL
Last but not the least, there’s another productivity tool that I came across while creating this post. And I am pretty sure that if you’re’re someone who has difficulty focusing on your work, like me, then I bet this will be helpful.
From the name itself, E.ggtimer is an online countdown timer where you’re can input your desired time to complete a particular task.
